An Adorable Wall-hanging and Lovely Throw
Sally Z’s adorable hand applique wall-hanging. I outlined the leaves in the border and added the crosshatching. Client supplied thread and batting.

Beth S’s lovely throw quilt. Wool batt supplied by client. I love the ‘puff’! I used a stencil for the centers and continuous curve in the light triangles of the pinwheels. Border used part of the stencil and a ruler. Omni thread to match background.

A Little Catch up
Beth W’s first Tshirt quilt that I did in November/December of last year. Pictures were hiding on my camera. Custom handguided with gray Omni thread and client supplied batting.

And Bev G’s T-shirt quilt completed a few weeks ago. Gray Omni. Custom handguided with lot’s of different designs.
Beverly’s Pinwheel Wallhanging
Beverly’s wall hanging with a needlepoint center. Hobbs 80/20 bleached and Antique Rose So Fine thread.

The Back

A Beautiful Queen Quilt
Shirley’s beautiful queen sized quilt. This 99 x 99 quilt just didn’t fit in one picture! While large, it was a fun one to quilt. I quilted the rows down one side then turned the quilt and went down the other side. And I took pictures as I went so I didn’t forget what I had done in each row! Hobbs 80/20 batting, SoFine thread in an off white color.

The Peaceful Butterfly Quilt
This Lenten quilt was constructed by members of First Presbyterian Church of Holland and quilted by me. It’s message is that peace begins with each and every one of us. It is spread through the world by our peaceful conduct. Hobbs 80/20 batting, free hand quilting with some ruler work. The dimensional butterflies were added after quilting was done. I turned the quilt sideways so the 3D butterfly path would be in the machine quilting area at the same time.

Another Fab Finish
Sally’s Coral and Tan Vines quilt. Custom freehand. SoFine in off white, Hobbs 80/20 batting.

Pretty White Diamonds
This is a twin size commission quilt for Mary Z. It was created using the Square in a Square ruler by Jodi Barrows. Designed in Electric Quilt 7. Custom hand guided on my Innova. SoFine #50, color Snow.

Custom Hand Guided Bed Runner
Here’s a bed runner I quilted for Betsy. Custom hand guided. Superior SoFine #50 in red. Hobbs 80/20 batting.

A Vintage Beauty Quilted
Here’s a sweet little linen piece that I quilted yesterday. I love seeing how some quilting really changes these up. And I’m pretty sure it won’t need ironing in the future! The only thing I wished I had done was add double batting. Next time!
This was my first try at using curved crosshatching. I like how it turned out. It’s also the first time I used that fill close line fill. It took some time but I think it was worth it. At this point it could be framed for a wall or used on a side table.
August Fun
I will be playing catch up a little bit as I get my site up and running. I am learning WordPress as I go! Here’s a quilt I worked on in August. I admit I did some ‘over quilting’ on it. This sweet little top was one that my sister pieced and permitted me to play on. And play I did!
The back is where the quilting really shows up.
