Red & White Excitement Part 1

Over the last few months, I have been privileged to quilt several red & white quilts for quilters entering their quilts in the Big Red Quilters Guild Red & White Challenge. The big reveal and contest winners were announced last night so now I can post pictures of the quilts that I quilted.  Three of these quilts took ribbons! How exciting is that?

Sally L’s beautiful pinwheel quilt won in the large traditional category. I freehand quilted with some ruler work, Hobbs 80/20 bleached batting, Superior SoFine thread in white.

Linda C’s petite and lovely pineapple won in the small traditional category.  This one was double batted, Hobbs 80/20 unbleached with Hobbs wool on top. Superior SoFine in white and red. Freehand and ruler work.LindaC
