Three Beauties for Barb
Look at this stunning hand applique quilt that I was privileged to quilt for Barb. Pictures just don’t do it justice at all! Freehand quilting, So Fine thread in a cream color. Hobbs 80/20 batting

A really colorful machine applique of Barb’s quilted with wavy lines. Hobbs 80/20 batting. Omni Lt Gray thread.


Two More for Beth
Beth’s colorful Purple Rain quilt used the digital E2E called rain drops. Purple Omni thread.


Beth’s lovely star quilt was custom quilted using freehand feathers and a digital feather square block design. Omni thread. 

Ann’s Beautiful Tulip Quilt
Ann’s beautiful Tulip quilt which I quilted last June was a joy to work on. I love how it turned out and especially the textures! Freehand feathers, automated design between the blocks with freehand crosshatching in the centers, automated crosshatching in the border and an automated scallop design in the outside border. Cream thread. I sure hope she entered this in the Tulip Time Quilt show this year! 


Three for Nora
Three for Nora done in May and July. This first one was a tiny 18″ Challenge quilt. Custom, ruler work. Glide thread in an off-white, double batt with wool on top, Hobbs 80/20 underneath.


E2E Digital design called Jazz P2P that was manipulated to look like waves and quilted sparingly as requested. Medium blue Omni thread. Hobbs 80/20 batting.

This adorable cowboy quilt was done freehand. The boots were so fun to quilt! Hobbs 80/20 batting. Omni natural white thread.


Two for Bev
This beauty has digital design Surf by Anne Bright. Light teal Superior Omni thread and client supplied batting.

This gorgeous quilt was custom quilted (freehand and ruler work) using off white Omni thread. I used two different designs for the blocks, creating a simulated border one block in all around the quilt. Those are the blocks with the meander background.


Sally’s beauties
A few quilts from April and June. This batik beauty of Sally’s turned out fantastic. Digital design Curly Weave by Karen Thompson. Hobbs 80/20 batt and blue Omni thread.

Sally’s Latimer Farms is amazing! The center has Andi Rudebusch’s digital design Wandering Feathers. The border was freehand feathers. Hobb’s 80/20 batt and thread Omni Sandbar.



Her butterfly quilt is delightful! Custom freehand quilting. Hobbs 80/20 batt and Cream Omni thread.


Two for Barb S.
Here’s two beauties for Barb S. The compass was quilted back in March. Freehand quilting. Black and gray Omni thread, Hobbs 80/20 batting.


This next one is an antique beauty. Quilted with African Samba digital design by Apricot Moon. Hobbs 80/20 batting. Lt Tan 40# Omni. 

Barb’s Beautiful 1/2 Square Triangle Quilt
Custom, mostly freehand quilting. Hobbs 80/20 batt, Omni thread in light gray. Love that texture on the back!!

The dark center is an automated design, “It’s so Romantic” by Sharon Schamber.
The continues curve quilting (CC’s) were done with rulers. 
The last two pictures are from Barb after the quilt was bound and washed. Don’t you just love the binding? 

Shirley’s Beauties
Here’s three hand-guided custom beauties for Shirley. Gorgeous quilts each in their own way. The first, this colorful star quilt! Love the texture on the back and the colors are fabulous!



Next is this adorable old-fashioned teddy bear quilt! So sweet! I used the crackle design around the back of the bears with straight lines for the floors to add some depth.



Quilting in the center star was already there on this bright and pretty star quilt. I was able to load it on my machine as is and finish off the teal areas with freehand feathers and a flower design in the border.


Almost Time to Sail Away
Vicky’s fun, beautiful sail boats quilt was a joy to quilt. Freehand custom in the block backgrounds, ruler work on the sails, digital design Cable by JoAnn Hoffman in the borders and shashing, machine generated crosshatch in the boats. Hobbs 80/20 bleached, Omni in Natural White.
